On December 16, participants of the Russian language courses not only immersed themselves in language practice, but also познакомились with New Year traditions in a warm and informal atmosphere.

The programme began with an interactive session devoted to the main symbols and elements of the New Year. Participants actively discussed holiday traditions, shared personal experiences, and wrote New Year wishes to one another.

The festive mood was enhanced by a live concert by Oleg Pogudin and Oleg Weinstein, which became a highlight of the evening and left the audience with unforgettable impressions.

An essential part of the celebration was a tasting of traditional Russian New Year dishes — herring under a fur coat and jellied meat. For many participants, it was an opportunity not only to try classic dishes, but also to learn more about Russia’s New Year culinary traditions.

The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, bringing together education, culture, and live communication.
