On January 26, a phonetics competition for Russian language learners (level A1–A2) took place at the Russian House in Brussels, bringing together participants interested in improving their speaking skills.
During the competition, participants read words and phrases focusing on correct pronunciation, recited poems, and performed short dialogues. Special attention was given to intonation, rhythm, and expressiveness, allowing participants to demonstrate not only their knowledge of the language but also their ability to convey its sound.
The performances were diverse and creative: participants confidently completed the tasks, supported each other, and actively engaged in the process.
The event was held in a warm and supportive atmosphere that encouraged participants to express themselves.
The competition became an important step in developing speaking skills, increased participants’ confidence in oral communication, and inspired them to continue learning Russian.
