In the cozy atmosphere of the Russian House, the long-awaited screening of the animated film “Ruslan and Lyudmila: More Than a Fairy Tale” took place. Inspired by the famous work of Alexander Pushkin, the film is created in the spirit of the beloved “Three Bogatyrs” animations and brought young viewers a sea of emotions, fun, and inspiration.

Ruslan’s story appeared in a new light — the hero is not a warrior, but an architect, who triumphs not with a sword, but with intelligence. It is his knowledge and ingenuity that help him overcome obstacles and reach the castle of the Koschei. A clever and loyal horse adds a special charm to the story, providing many humorous moments and uplifting the audience’s mood.

Lyudmila, too, is no longer a passive princess waiting to be rescued. In this new interpretation, she shows determination and cleverness — not only seeking a way out herself but also helping other princesses escape.

One of the most spectacular moments was the transformation of the witch Naina into a fearsome, yet dazzling dragon — a scene that especially thrilled the children, filling them with awe and excitement.

The film, built on characters that are relatable to modern children, conveys an important message: strength doesn’t always lie in muscle — true strength is in knowledge, the ability to think and act wisely, as well as in friendship and trust.

With this bright event, the Children’s Club begins its holiday break. See you again in the new school year!
