On May 20, the Russian House hosted a themed picnic for learners of the Russian language dedicated to the traditions of Russian cuisine. Russian language courses at the Russian House in Brussels place special emphasis not only on learning the language but also on discovering Russian culture. On February 13, a cultural and educational event for Russian language learners dedicated to Maslenitsa — one of the brightest and most beloved holidays in Russia — took place at the Russian House in Brussels. On January 26, a phonetics competition for Russian language learners (level A1–A2) took place at the Russian House in Brussels, bringing together participants interested in improving their speaking skills. During the competition, participants read words and phrases focusing on correct pronunciation, recited poems, and performed short dialogues. Special attention was given to intonation, rhythm, and expressiveness, allowing participants to demonstrate not only their knowledge of the language but also their ability to convey its sound.
