This year, our New Year’s celebration was bright and joyful.
It all started when our little guests and their parents walked into the concert hall. The children, as the main celebrants, were given seats in the front. Like adults, they walked ahead, leaving their parents behind.
Barbariska and Vesnushka ran onto the stage and invited the children and their parents to play.
The hall was divided into two teams, and an exciting program began. The teams competed to see who could stomp louder or clap their hands more crisply. The contest turned out to be a real hit as both children and parents enthusiastically completed the tasks and supported each other. Normally, you can’t stomp and make noise, but today, anything was allowed!
Then the children were invited to play the role of artists. They happily accepted the invitation and went up to the stage, for artists always perform on stage! Each child had the opportunity to use their imagination and become part of a magical world.
Some pretended to be hedgehogs, others turned into trees, and some became snowflakes. The children’s imagination was limitless, and laughter and joy filled the hall. These fun games quickly brought the children together and created a festive atmosphere.

A local theater group took the stage to present a magical play about a Christmas angel. The angel visited people on the streets and asked if they had any wishes. But, as it turned out, people had forgotten how to wish for anything. Everything changed when a girl appeared on stage and wished for Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) to come and light up the Christmas tree. Hearing her wish, the angel promised to make it come true, and the hall was filled with magic.
The whole audience called for Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) and Snow Maiden. Finally, Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) arrived from Veliky Ustyug, together with his beloved granddaughter, Snow Maiden. He asked the children to show him where the tree was. All the children went down into the hall, forming a circle around the New Year’s tree. “Christmas tree, light up!” they shouted when they saw the lights weren’t on. Then, after completing that task, they played games, had fun, and rejoiced in the magic becoming real.
At the end of the celebration, the children had the chance to take photos with Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) and the Snow Maiden, as well as receive long-awaited gifts. The holiday was fun and unforgettable.
