At the end of March, adults and children once again gathered together — continuing a wonderful tradition — for a family screening of the fantasy film “The tinderbox.”

“The tinderbox” is a vibrant Russian fantasy film directed by Alexander Voytinsky, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s famous fairy tale, yet telling a completely new and captivating story. Viewers embarked on a magical adventure with the young hero Ivan, who helps Princess Dasha lift a mysterious curse placed upon her mother.

To ensure everyone could fully enjoy the experience, English subtitles were provided for guests who do not speak Russian.

The hall began filling up well before the screening — the most eager viewers chose their seats half an hour in advance. Even those who arrived later didn’t miss out: everyone enjoyed the beloved fairy tale that brought childhood memories back to life and united audiences of all ages.

As soon as the final scene faded and the lights came on, we were showered with questions:

— Will there be another movie?
— When is the next screening?
— What are we watching next?

And we have great news!
