And it all started with the fact that the interests of the visitors of the literary salon began to go beyond the program of reading books. Somehow it happened naturally that the members decided to meet in an informal setting.

For what? Just for a chat, to share interests, life stories, get to know each other better, expand the circle of communication, and exchange some experiences based on who knows or can do what better.
The first meeting lasted more than three hours. The girlfriends couldn’t part ways, like old friends who hadn’t seen each other in ages. It was interesting to hear about the paths and circumstances that led them to Belgium, what hidden challenges they encountered, whether their expectations in personal and professional life were met, and whether their tastes, hobbies, and preferences had changed.

It’s very important to know that you are not the only one facing difficulties, that sometimes you feel like giving up. Those who had recently arrived were able to ask questions like: “How is this? What about that? Is it true that…?”
One of the girlfriends was knitting and at the same time giving a master class on this ancient craft. Another girlfriend was doing embroidery.

The hobbies of the girlfriends turned out to be very diverse. Their interests ranged from playing musical instruments, equestrian sports, and volunteering to calligraphy, photography, and knitting.
In a warm, friendly atmosphere, the conversation developed actively over fragrant tea with homemade pie and sweets. By the end of the meeting, it was clear that it was absolutely necessary to have such heartfelt gatherings more often.
