Dear friends,
On January 24, 2026, the Russian House will host a Family Day!
We invite children and adults to a cozy family event dedicated to the works of Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov.
During this evening, everyone is welcome to try themselves on stage and share their favorite poems or prose excerpts by the poet and writer. Children and adults of all levels of stage experience are invited to participate, including those who have long dreamed of performing but have never tried before. A wide variety of performance formats are welcome:
- recitation of poems and excerpts from prose;
- family mini-performances;
- vocal performances based on works by M. Y. Lermontov;
- presentation of creative works dedicated both to Mikhail Lermontov himself and to his literary works.
If you are not yet ready to perform in front of an audience, we will be happy to welcome you as spectators and a support group — a warm atmosphere and inspiration are guaranteed.
An interactive children’s program is also planned!
🔹 To participate as a performer, please fill out the application form:
no later than January 18. Please review the previously submitted applications in advance to avoid duplicate performances.
🔹 Registration on the website is mandatory for all attendees, including both spectators and performers.
The second event, which will take place after the readings, is the closing of the children’s art exhibition dedicated to New Year stories.
Many of you have visited this exhibition, and some of you were participants. Let us recall how the opening took place:
