Our small but very talented theatre studio has performed for the first time on stage with the mini-play “The Christmas Angel.” The troupe consists of children from 8 to 17 years old.

It is no secret that children and teenagers are easily swayed by the charm of fashionable social trends, rebel, and do not accept pressure or limitations on their freedom. In everyday life, it can be difficult to motivate them to study the Russian language if they speak with their peers in any other language at school.
The theatre studio is a unique developmental hobby through which Russian-speaking teenagers can immerse themselves deeper in the language environment of their homeland, get acquainted with masterpieces of Russian literature, explore the art of theatre, broaden their horizons, as well as make new friends and develop their creative skills.
Classes at the Theatre Studio will take place once a week for 2 hours on Sundays.
The leader and teacher is Natalia Luponosova, who has been the head of the “Sadko” theatre studio in Ghent for over 20 years.
