On the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory, the Cinema Club of the Russian House in Brussels will host a screening of the legendary Soviet film “Tehran-43”. This iconic detective thriller tells the story of a foiled Nazi plot against the leaders of the anti-Hitler coalition during the Tehran Conference of 1943. The film, which won an award at the Cannes Film Festival, features a star-studded cast, including Igor Kostolevsky, Alain Delon, and Natalia Belokhvostikova.
Viewers will be immersed in an atmosphere of intense intelligence battles, gripping events, intertwined destinies, and a dramatic love story unfolding against the backdrop of World War II. “Tehran-43” is renowned not only for its captivating plot but also for its stunning musical score—the song “Eternal Love”, performed by Charles Aznavour, became the film’s signature theme.
