Dear friends, we are delighted to invite you to a screening of animated films produced by the legendary Soyuzmultfilm Film Studio.

This screening is dedicated to the upcoming 90th anniversary of the well-known and beloved-since-childhood film studio.

A Brief History:

• On June 10, 1936, the “Soyuzdetmultfilm” studio was founded. Its team included renowned animation masters such as Ivan Ivanov-Vano, Vladimir Suteev, Boris Dezhkin, and others. The studio released its very first cartoon — “It’s Hot in Africa”.
• In 1937, “Soyuzdetmultfilm” dropped the “det” (children’s) prefix and became simply “Soyuzmultfilm”. In the same year, the studio released its first color film — “Sweet Pie”, directed by Dmitry Babichenko and Aleksandr Belyakov.
