Celebrating the start of the new academic year for our Russian language courses and International Music Day

On 2 October, the Russian House in Brussels invites students of its Russian language courses to a festive concert celebrating the start of the new academic year and International Music Day.

The beginning of the academic year is a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow students and teachers, get to know the people with whom you will be learning Russian this year, and start the new academic year together in a friendly atmosphere.

The evening will be accompanied by a performance by Duo Inspiro, a chamber duo featuring international competition laureates Anton and Elena Moiseenko (clarinet and piano).

Founded in 2014, Duo Inspiro performs on stages in Russia and internationally, with a repertoire combining classical and contemporary works.

• Anton Moiseenko is a clarinetist, composer and laureate of international competitions. He has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall in New York and St Martin-in-the-Fields in London.
• Elena Moiseenko is a pianist, graduate of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and laureate of international competitions in France, Germany and Switzerland.

The programme includes works by Prokofiev, Widor, Messager and Tchaikovsky.

And to make the start of the new academic year even more enjoyable, a gift awaits every guest!

Let’s start the new academic year together — with new connections, friendly conversations and beautiful music!
