Russia Day

International Day of the Russian Language

Birthday of the Russian Poet A.S. Pushkin

Exhibition Dates: 07.06–16.09.2025

Finissage: 16.09

The finissage of the compatriots’ exhibition will take place after the ceremonial season opening at the Russian House in Brussels with the concert “Tchaikovsky: Reflection in Sounds”. This is a bright finale of the art project, where fantasy, inspiration, and the talent of our artists come together in a festive atmosphere.

The exhibition features new or previously unexhibited works by professional and amateur artists: paintings, graphics, sculptures, artistic photographs, and applied art. The participants are our compatriots, including those from neighboring countries, as well as our friends from Belgium, France, Greece, and the Netherlands. Created with great talent and creative inspiration, the landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre and abstract paintings displayed at the Russian House will delight and surprise you with their diversity of ideas and artistic styles.

Thanks to the artistic photography of our participants, you will journey to festive, fairground Moscow, the romantic Russian countryside, and the mysterious northern capital — Saint Petersburg.

Applied arts are once again richly represented. The quilted artworks of our regular participant, the magical craftswoman Natalia Maraeva, are dedicated to great Russian writers and composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, whose 185th anniversary is being celebrated this year.

We invite you to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of art, created by the rich imagination of our talented artists!
