Dear young friends, we invite you, your parents, and your friends to a wonderful fantasy fairy tale about treachery, envy, and love, based on the famous work by Alexander Pushkin.
Stopping for the night in a humble village house, Tsar Saltan meets Annushka — a sincere, kind, and incredibly charming young woman. Falling head over heels in love, the sovereign marries her and brings her to his palace. Soon, the young tsaritsa gives her husband a long-awaited heir. Joining her in the luxurious royal chambers are her relatives — her sisters and stepmother — for whom the doors to a world of wealth and privilege open as if by magic.

However, their newfound happiness and luxury bring the relatives no peace. Instead of gratitude, fierce envy and an unquenchable thirst for power take root in their hearts. Taking advantage of Saltan’s absence, the conspirators substitute a letter, presenting the young mother and her newborn baby in the worst possible light to the sovereign. Enraged, Saltan orders everyone to wait for his return to get to the bottom of things, but the cunning sisters intercept this decree as well. Substituting the tsar’s command once more, they doom Annushka and her son to a terrible fate: the tsaritsa and her child are sealed in a tarred barrel and cast into the raging ocean to certain death.
