We invite you to a masterclass by GITIS — an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of musical theatre, try your hand at acting and vocal practice, and discover how to bring musical material to life on stage.

The masterclass consists of two parts.

Part 1: Musical and Rhythmic Training

Participants will take part in practical work with rhythm, movement, music, and stage presence. This will help you tune into ensemble work, feel the connection between body and voice, and unlock your creative potential.

Part 2 (Practical): Voice, Aria, Musical

In this part of the masterclass, using ten brave participants as examples, you will discover:

– how to truly live through a vocal performance in a musical;

– how to create an expressive spoken word;

– how to combine voice, emotion, and stage action;

– how to work with a character and stage image.

Important! To participate in the second, practical part, please send an instrumental backing track of the piece you would like to perform to biblio@rushouse.be no later than 21 September. We recommend choosing a piece from a contemporary musical.
