II International Russian Music Piano Competition. Preliminary Round in Brussels

On December 10, the Russian House in Brussels and the organizers of the II International Russian Music Piano Competition invite young pianists aged 12 to 30 to participate in the preliminary round, which will take place in Brussels, for subsequent participation in the competition.

The competition is organized by: the Government of the Ryazan Region, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Ryazan Region, the Non-profit Organization “Fund for the Support of Musical and Theatrical Art ‘WORLD OF HIGH ART’”, the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution “Ryazan Music College named after G. and A. Pirogov”, and the State Autonomous Cultural Institution “Ryazan Regional Philharmonic”.

The Russian Music Piano Competition aims to expand the understanding of listeners and performers regarding the diversity of Russian musical heritage and the contribution of Russian composers to world culture.

Young talented pianists from different countries will immerse themselves in the classics of the 18th–20th centuries and discover new names of contemporary Russian composers.

Participants who successfully pass the preliminary round will be inspired by the nature and unique history of the Ryazan region, where they will meet distinguished teachers, music critics, impresarios, and connoisseurs of classical art.

The renowned international jury will evaluate the technique and expressiveness of the performers. Winners will receive international recognition and substantial cash prizes! The total prize fund of the competition is 5 million rubles.
