We invite you to take part in the Geographical Dictation!

The Geographical Dictation is an international educational event organized by the Russian Geographical Society. It has been held annually since 2015 and brings together participants from all continents. Every year, hundreds of thousands of school students, university students, and adults test their knowledge of the geography, nature, and culture of Russia, discovering new facts about the country.
The project aims to popularize geographical knowledge and to promote interest in studying our country and the world.

The main character of the popular animated project Multi-Russia — the Bear-Local Historian — has become the ambassador of the international educational campaign Geographical Dictation.

You can join this large-scale event starting November 30, when dictation venues will open all over the world.

What to expect:

  • Interesting facts and discoveries after the dictation
  • An opportunity to test your knowledge and learn something new
