Dear friends!
For the second year in a row, our Russian House will host the International Historical Dictation on the events of the Great Patriotic War – the Dictation of Victory. This year, the event is especially significant and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
We invite you to take part in this unique event! You will have the opportunity not only to test your knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War but also to show your respect for the feat of those who, in those distant years, participated in the liberation of not only our country but also the countries of Europe.
The Dictation of Victory was first held on May 7, 2019, and was dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event took place in 24 countries, including Russia. The number of participants exceeded 150,000 people. Later, the decision was made to hold the Dictation of Victory annually.
In 2025, the Dictation will consist of 25 questions, 20 of which will focus on general military and historical topics, and 5 will be country-specific. Participants will have 45 minutes to answer the questions.
The questions vary in format. In one case, you will need to fill in the missing words in a text, in another, identify the author of a work about the war, determine an event, name a city, etc. The tasks are adapted for foreign participants.

The Dictation of Victory will take place in two formats. Please note the dates for the online and offline events:

– offline at the Russian House 26.04.2025.
