📖 We invite you to the launch of our pilot literary reading project!
The Russian House and Library are introducing a new format — literary readings, where our visitors themselves become the readers. It’s an open and friendly space for all who love literature — whether you enjoy reading aloud or simply listening.
📅 Our first reading will be Alexander Grin’s novel Scarlet Sails.
We’ll immerse ourselves in the dreamlike and hopeful atmosphere of this story and discuss why the sails are scarlet and where the name Assol comes from.
🎤 Readers for the first evening: Natalia Mikhina and Marina Delveaux.
If you have favorite passages from Scarlet Sails and are ready to read them aloud — we’ll be happy to have you join us as a reader.
If not, just come and listen — it will be beautiful.
📚 Welcome to the world of Grin — a world of adventure, dreams, and light!
🗣 Event language: Russian.
