Dear friends, connoisseurs of beauty, and poetry lovers!
We cordially invite you to the next meeting of our Literary Salon. This time, it will be dedicated to two geniuses of Russian literature, whose friendship, mutual respect, and creative dialogue shaped the “Golden Age” of Russian poetry.
Evgeny Baratynsky — the “poet of thought,” a master of profound elegy and philosophical lyricism.
Alexander Pushkin — the “sun of Russian poetry,” a genius who needs no introduction.
At our meeting, we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the 19th century and discuss:
- The intersections of their creative paths, the hidden meanings in their poems, and how a great era was born;
- The history of friendship and creative rivalry between Pushkin and Baratynsky;
- Why Baratynsky was called a “poet’s poet” and how Pushkin evaluated his extraordinary gift.
And, of course, we will read our favorite poems.
An evening of lively conversation with wonderful people, an exchange of views, and shared knowledge awaits you.
