Dear regulars and guests of the Literary Salon, writers love to “play” with sharp and controversial topics. The Weiner brothers are no exception.
The theme of “law and morality” has always held an important place in literature, reflecting the complex relationship between the laws of society and an individual’s inner principles. In literary works, the law is often viewed not just as a system of norms but also as a reflection of human conscience, choices, and conflicts. Issues of justice, moral duty, and responsibility form the basis for creating vivid characters and tense plots. From Dostoevsky to contemporary authors, the conflict between law and morality continues to inspire writers to deeply reflect on the nature of good and evil, freedom and responsibility, and the boundaries of what is acceptable.
During the session, we will read an excerpt from the first chapter in roles.
