Dear friends!

On the Day of the Complete Liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade, the Russian House in Brussels invites guests to a commemorative event dedicated to one of the most tragic and heroic pages in the history of the 20th century. This day is a symbol of resilience, courage, and the unbreakable spirit of the inhabitants of the besieged city.

Program:

The exhibition “900 Days of Courage”, telling the story of the everyday life of Leningrad residents during the blockade, their selflessness, and their faith in Victory. The exhibition features archival materials, photographs, and eyewitness accounts that offer a deeper understanding of the scale of the tragedy and the greatness of human heroism.

The audience will also be presented with the documentary “Leningrad: 872 Days of Hell”, which recreates the events of the blockade years through archival footage and firsthand memories.

We invite everyone who values the preservation of historical truth to honor the memory of the victims of the blockade and pay tribute to the unparalleled heroism of the people of Leningrad.
