The Russian Geographic Society presents:
“Arctic: Through the Looking Glass”
Director: Anton Sobolevsky
2017 * 52 minutes
English subtitles
The Russian Arctic. The Kola Peninsula. From here, it’s just a couple of hours’ flight to the North Pole. The White Sea, one of Russia’s youngest seas and part of the Arctic Ocean, spreads its waters here. These dark waters are a realm of swift currents and low temperatures. It seems that no living organism could exist in such hostile conditions. However, in this “icy looking glass,” intense dramas unfold.
