In honor of the Year of Family in Russia and as part of the celebration of Family, Love, and Fidelity Day – the Day of Peter and Fevronia of Murom, from July 11th, the Russian House in Brussels will host the exhibition of the winners of the International Photo Contest “Mother and Children in National Costumes.”

Organized by the RPO “International Women’s Union“, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore the diversity of national costumes and cultures captured in touching and sincere photographs of mothers and their children.

The project aims to showcase the national color of the peoples of Russia through the expression of the cultural diversity of their nation via national costumes, thanks to the talented works of photo artists.

The year 2024 has been declared the “Year of Family” in the Russian Federation. One of the goals of the international photo contest is to preserve traditional family values, strengthen intra-family and intergenerational relationships, and form family traditions.
