Outdoor Stands of the Russian House

The Russian House in Brussels invites you to visit the photo exhibition “Traditional Cultures of the Peoples of Southern Russia”. The exhibition presents photographic materials about the Republic of Dagestan, the Republic of Kalmykia, Krasnodar Krai, Astrakhan Region, and other regions of southern Russia.

The southern regions of Russia are a true gem of our country, representing a unique blend of cultures and traditions. Preserving this heritage with care is one of our main priorities.

The photographs bear witness to the free and rich religious and cultural life in southern Russia. The exhibition shows services in mosques, churches, a synagogue, a Catholic church, a Buddhist temple, as well as national and religious holidays, folk traditions and customs, crafts, leisure, education, cuisine, and traditional costumes.
