This year, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Ingushetia Republic, as well as the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War!
From March 13 to 25, 2025, come and celebrate its centenary at the Russian House Brussels!
The opening of the Days of Culture will take place on 13 March at 19:00
This event is organized by the Russian House Brussels and the Center for Franco-Ingush Research, with the participation of university students from Belgium, France and Germany. It’s an important event for anyone interested in the traditions, history and art of the North Caucasus people. The visitors will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the centuries-old history of Ingushetia and become familiar with its distinct traditions.
On the program for these special days:
– Art exhibition – artworks by famous Ingush artists, reflecting the republic’s national character and historical heritage.
– Photographic exhibition – a series of prints demonstrating the region’s scenic beauty, cultural richness and tourism potential.
– Presentation of national costumes – an introduction to the history of Ingush clothing and its evolution.
– Exhibition of handmade tapestries – traditional handicrafts created by Ingush artisans.
– A tasting of Ingush cuisine, an opportunity to sample traditional specialties prepared according to ancient recipes.
