Total Dictation is a community project run by activists and volunteers. Each year, a unique text is specially written for the event by a famous author. This year, the text will be presented by Alexey Varlamov — a Russian writer, publicist, and researcher of 20th-century Russian literary history, well-known to fans of the “Lives of Remarkable People” series.

Anyone can take part in Total Dictation, regardless of age, gender, education, religion, profession, family status, interests, or political views.

Last year, Brussels successfully rejoined the initiative after a long break. We invite everyone to support the project by participating. You will not only be able to test your knowledge of the Russian language but also meet fellow intellectuals and like-minded people.
