Dear friends!
At the end of April, our Children’s Club was once again visited by a wonderful guest — Yulianna Pakhomova. Those who have attended her workshops before know: it will be interesting, surprising, and very creative. And this time was no exception.

When we were discussing what theme to choose for the workshop, Yulianna asked:
— Do you think the children would enjoy making a bouquet?
— I think so. What kind of flowers?
— From pistachio shells. Start cracking pistachios!
Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?
While a spring drizzle fell outside, the atmosphere inside the Children’s Club grew warmer — not from the heaters, but from the joyful bustle and the desire to create. The young artists came with sparkling eyes, and even the gloomy weather couldn’t stop them.

On the tables awaited glue sticks, paints, twigs, colored paper… and… trays of empty pistachio shells.
— What’s this? Someone ate the pistachios and left us the trash? — Artem frowned in surprise.
— That’s not trash, those are the petals of future flowers, — Yulianna replied with a mysterious smile.
— And if I eat one flower, will it grow inside my tummy? — giggled Masha, peering at a shell.
— Only if you water it with juice and shine a sunbeam into your belly, — Yulianna winked.
And the work began!
The kids eagerly started crafting petals from the shells and gluing them to the base.
— My flower will look just like the one on Mommy’s windowsill! — said Dima confidently as he carefully attached the “petals.”
The youngest participant first sat beside her mom, helping her with the applique. Later, she walked around to see if anyone else needed help.

Some children experimented with shapes, others with colors, and some were building “something” — in hopes that something beautiful would grow from it. The process mattered more than the result. The joy of creativity filled the room!
Yulianna lovingly helped everyone, showing how to glue the petals, where to add paint, and when to just trust imagination.
In the end, each child had a unique bouquet — made of pistachio shells, patience, imagination, and a touch of spring inspiration.
And once again, we were reminded: everything can be useful. Even pistachio shells — especially when there’s a child nearby who can see a flower in them.
See you again at the Kid’s Club!
