In the autumn of 2025, one of the largest professional events in the field of teaching Russian abroad will begin. From October 15 to November 19, the international online methodological program “Organization of Russian Language Courses Abroad” will take place, bringing together more than 1,000 teachers from 100 countries.

The goal of the project is to support and strengthen the methodological potential of teachers of Russian abroad, to provide them with access to modern educational resources and technologies, and to help them organize short-term language courses for different audiences more effectively.

Organizers:
The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation;
the Educational Center Mir Russkikh Uchebnikov (World of Russian Textbooks);
with the support of the Zlatoust Educational and Publishing Center.

The program includes:

  • video lectures by leading specialists in teaching Russian as a foreign language,

  • master classes and practical sessions on specific teaching techniques,

  • open lessons analyzing real-life classroom situations,

  • discussion panels and round tables with colleagues from around the world.

The training will take place on the Mir.ru online platform (GetCourse LMS), where each participant will have access to materials, presentations, and recordings of the sessions.
