Traditional film screenings were held at the Russian House in Brussels as part of the international annual festival “Short Film Days.”

The event was first launched in 2014 at the initiative of the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia. A key feature of the festival is its “Echo” program — non-commercial screenings of Russian short films at more than 700 venues across 80 regions of Russia and 25 countries worldwide. Each year, the screenings attract over 150,000 viewers.

The audience warmly welcomed the selected programs, noting the diversity of genres and themes as well as the high professional quality of the films. The films from the “Filmed in the Regions” program received particularly strong feedback, offering a fresh perspective on life and the cultural diversity of Russia’s regions.

The practice of hosting Russian short film screenings at the Russian House in Brussels will continue in the future.
