On March 6, the Russian House in Brussels hosted the festive evening “Spring Charm,” dedicated to International Women’s Day. Guests of the event enjoyed masterpieces of classical music and paintings as part of the finissage of the exhibition “Art Kaleidoscope. Dedicated to the 260th Anniversary of the Hermitage.”
The first part of the evening was devoted to a classical music concert. Laureates of international competitions—pianist Jannat Huseynzoda, flutist Mark Yakovlev, and violinist Valentin Shterin—performed works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Maurice Ravel, and other outstanding composers, delivering vivid musical impressions to the audience. The musicians’ performances delighted the public, who were reluctant to let them leave the stage. Thunderous and prolonged applause confirmed the high level of artistry, and the audience demanded an encore. Inspired by the warm reception, the musicians performed additional pieces, making it a true gift for all attendees.
The second part of the event featured the finissage of the art exhibition, where guests had the opportunity to meet the artists and organizers of the project. A special highlight was the presentation by writer, journalist, and applied arts master Stepan Knyazev, who showcased his unique art objects created from mechanical parts.

The evening’s musical atmosphere was further enriched by pianist and composer Souli-M (Lilit Melkonyan), a graduate of the Brussels Music Academy and the Sablon Academy. She performed compositions from her new album “Saturne 5” (2024), as well as pieces from her debut album “Emotions” (2010), which has long been beloved by listeners in Belgium, France, and Armenia.
The festive evening “Spring Charm” became a bright event in the run-up to International Women’s Day, bringing together lovers of music and art. Guests left inspired, and the atmosphere of harmony and beauty made this evening truly unforgettable.
