On September 27, the Russian House in Brussels hosted the grand opening of its new season, marked by a classical music concert by Timur Sergeyenia and the vernissage of the exhibition “Journey through Holy Russia” by artist and photographer Philippe Biermé. This event was a true celebration for art lovers.

The evening began with a performance by the distinguished pianist Timur Sergeyenia, who performed works by both Russian and international composers, immersing the audience in an atmosphere of musical harmony and emotional depth. The concert program featured masterpieces from the world’s musical heritage — from Mozart and Schubert to Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff. Timur Sergeyenia delivered a brilliant rendition of Mozart’s “Fantasy in D minor,” Schubert’s heartfelt “Impromptu,” Liszt’s virtuosic “Hungarian Rhapsody,” as well as his own interpretation of Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King.” Each piece was met with enthusiastic applause. The audience was especially moved by Tchaikovsky’s “Meditation” and Rachmaninoff’s “Moment Musicaux,” which filled the hall with deep emotions and left an unforgettable impression.

After the concert, guests enjoyed the vernissage of the exhibition “Journey through Holy Russia” by Belgian artist and photographer Philippe Biermé. This unique display harmoniously complemented the evening, blending music and visual art into a unified cultural experience. Visitors were impressed not only by Timur Sergeyenia virtuosity but also by the profound artistic vision of Holy Russia, embodied in Berme’s works.

This evening became an unforgettable event, combining the highest forms of music and painting, and left everyone with bright and inspiring impressions.
