On May 6, 2026, an online presentation of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts — GITIS — took place at the Russian House in Brussels. The educational programmes, structure, history, and international activities of this renowned institution were presented. GITIS is one of the largest theatre schools in Russia and Europe, founded in 1878. The Institute preserves the traditions of the Russian theatre school and is the only higher educational institution in the country where students receive training in all specialisations required for theatre.
