A screening of the legendary film “Tehran-43” took place at the Russian House in Brussels as part of a series of film showings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory. The film, which tells the story of the events surrounding the prevention of an assassination attempt on the Allied leaders in 1943, sparked great interest among viewers and became a topic for discussion on the role of intelligence and diplomacy during World War II.
After the screening, a lively discussion followed. Participants noted the film’s unique atmosphere, the brilliant performances of Alain Delon, Natalya Belokhvostikova, and Igor Kostolevsky, as well as the gripping plot that successfully combines historical facts with elements of a spy thriller.
The film screening project at the Russian House aims to preserve historical memory and introduce a wide audience to domestic cinema about the Great Patriotic War. The next film in the series, “The Fate of a Man”, will be shown on March 11, 2025, and also promises to be an important event for viewers.
The Russian House thanks all guests and invites everyone to the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory!
