From May 22 to June 25, 2024, the art exhibition “Slavic Kaleidoscope” took place with great success at the Russian House in Brussels. The exhibition was dedicated to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture, as well as the 225th anniversary of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.
“Slavic Kaleidoscope” continued the cycle of exhibitions “Artistic Kaleidoscope” and presented works by our compatriots, including photographs, paintings, graphics, and applied arts. Inspired by Slavic folklore, monuments of Russian and Slavic literature, as well as the works of A.S. Pushkin, the participants of the exhibition demonstrated the beauty and diversity of Slavic culture in their works.
Visitors to the exhibition were able to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the Slavic Kaleidoscope, which featured landscapes, paintings, architecture, household items, costumes, and illustrations of Pushkin’s fairy tales.
The curatorial work of Antonina Golikova and Natalia Evdokimova allowed for the creation of a unique exposition reflecting the richness and uniqueness of Slavic culture. The exhibition aroused great interest among visitors and became an important cultural event in Brussels.
The “Slavic Kaleidoscope” exhibition not only showcased the richness of Slavic culture but also contributed to strengthening cultural ties between peoples.
