Dear friends, earlier this month, an art workshop for adults was held at the Russian House. Under the guidance of experienced artist and teacher Anna Burkovskaya, our guests learned how to paint a carnation using watercolors.
This flower was chosen for a reason. Since ancient times, the carnation has symbolized victory and the blood shed in battle.

The flower was brought to Europe by crusader knights and was named “The Flower of the God Zeus.” Since then, it has become the flower of warriors.
Although the workshop was announced for adults, a very young artist also took part in it.
