From 22 to 29 March 2026, St. Petersburg will host the IX educational programme for young compatriots “Reading the Blockade Book”, dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade.
The programme is open to young compatriots aged 12–16 living abroad, as well as accompanying teachers of Russian language, literature, history, or culture (aged 25–60).
The programme includes:

lectures and interactive workshops
-
thematic excursions in St. Petersburg
-
a trip along the Road of Life
-
meetings with representatives of veterans’ and public organisations
For accompanying teachers, special round tables on multilingual education and pedagogy will be organised.
The organisers cover accommodation, meals, local transport in St. Petersburg, and the cultural programme.
Travel to and from St. Petersburg must be covered by the participants.
Applications are accepted until 6 March 2026.
