The project “Russia: 85 Adventures”, undertaken by the Russia Beyond team, is specifically designed for those who seek the extraordinary. With their assistance, the film’s creators selected eight regions to compile their collection of adventures. They underwent training at a high-mountain base in Dagestan, went fishing in Astrakhan, witnessed the casting of bells using ancient techniques in Tutayev, and experienced the unpredictability of nature at the foot of Mount Elbrus.
