The Second World War is coming to an end. The heavy, protracted battles are exhausting both sides. But the closer the end of the war, the more often on the battlefields appears a huge invulnerable German tank ‘White Tiger’: suddenly appears in the smoke of battle, mercilessly shoots opponents and suddenly disappears …
‘The further the war is removed in time, the more important and fundamental event of history it becomes’ – states the film’s director Karen Shakhnazarov. The film is dedicated to his father, Georgy Shakhnazarov, who went to the front at the age of eighteen, his battle comrades and all veterans of World War II
