On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Music and poetry surrounded people at the front and home front, giving them the strength to survive the most difficult times.

Accompanied by images from our favorite films, we will hear poems and songs from the war years that are familiar to everyone, as well as poems and songs dedicated to “those great years”, we will celebrate the centenary of the birth of the famous authors such as Yulia Drunina, Viktor Astafiev, Vladimir Bogomolov, Yuri Bondarev, Boris Vasiliev and Bulat Okudzhava.

Listening to the eternal music of S. Rachmaninov, we will remember the film based on the famous book by Boris Vasiliev “The dawns here are quiet” and we will pay tribute to the 80th anniversary of the end of the siege of Leningrad with classical music which was played even in those terrible years in the unconquered city, as a melody of hope “despite all the deaths”.

The musical and poetic evening will bring together:

Andrei Chevtchouk (Musical direction and piano)

Tatiana Yurkova (soprano)

Antoine Trouvé (cello)

Olga Romanova (accordion)

Tatiana Derache (alto)
