Hello, dear book lovers!
The holidays are behind us. The children have started school, and it’s time for us to meet and discuss how the summer went.
By old habit, our people always take books with them on vacation. Times change, but habits remain. Some read light, fun detective stories like those of Darya Dontsova while on holiday, others prefer classic Russian literature like Ivan Turgenev, and some seek thrills in the world of fantasy with books by Leah Arden. The world of books is rich and diverse.
At our September meeting, we will discuss who read what this summer, as well as talk about “healing novels.” What are they? Come and find out; I can only hint that the concept of “healing” means finding harmony and becoming happy.
Come to discuss, listen, socialize, and meet interesting people.
Don’t forget to bring the books you plan to talk about, jot down your favorite quotes, or mark the moments you’d like to discuss. Not ready to share your opinion but love to listen? No one will force you to speak. A grateful listener is every lecturer’s dream.
The session is conducted in Russian.
