Its team included renowned animation masters such as Ivan Ivanov-Vano, Vladimir Suteev, Boris Dezhkin, and others. The studio released its very first cartoon — "It's Hot in Africa". In 1937, "Soyuzdetmultfilm" dropped the "det" (children's) prefix and became simply "Soyuzmultfilm".
