The State Russian Museum and the Russian House in Brussels continue a series of online tours of the largest museum of Russian fine art. The meeting on 25 June will be dedicated to the Russian avant-garde – the brightest page in the history of Russian art. Valentina Gorlova, the Head of the Excursion and Lecture Department of the Russian Museum, will conduct the tour.

Viewers will learn about the work of the founders of the Russian avant-garde, Mikhail Larionov, Natalia Goncharova, Wassily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, Vladimir Tatlin, Alexander Rodchenko, Alexandra Ekster, Lyubov Popova, Nathan Altman, Nikolai Puni and others. The technologies of panoramic photography will enable viewers to find themselves in the halls of the Russian Museum and see how the works of avant-garde artists are presented at the exhibition.

The online excursion is organized as the part of the project “Conversations about art to the Russian Museum”, which is run by the Russian Museum in cooperation with the Russian House in Brussels and is dedicated to introducing foreign audiences to the history of Russian fine art. The online excursion will be held in Russian with simultaneous translation into French.
