Concert by the Russian ensemble “Otrada”, Antwerp.
The Day of Slavic Literature and Culture is a wonderful opportunity to introduce children and adults to the origins of Slavic traditions, Russian folk customs, rituals and old folk art. In short, getting closer to the culture of the Russian people.
The programme of our evening includes round dances, folk games and songs with centuries-old history to songs sung in our days.
Spectators can interact with the Russian ensemble “Otrada” at the festival.
Together with us, every visitor can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an ancient Russian holiday with its traditions and colours.
Ensemble “Otrada” was founded in 2013 in Antwerp under the direction of Elena Borisenko, a graduate of the Moscow State University Faculty of Arts and Culture. The repertoire of “Otrada” includes folk and modern Russian songs.
