Dear friends, the summer holidays have come to an end. To make parting with summer less sad, we decided to delight our young visitors and their parents with the fairy tale film “Cheburashka” (2023).

To be honest, we were a bit anxious: would the audience come? Our concern was understandable: it was a sunny Saturday. But it turned out our worries were in vain. The audience didn’t miss the chance to watch their beloved character and reunite with friends they hadn’t played with all summer.

Not only did our regular kids’ club members attend, but there were also new faces. It was very pleasant to hear: “Thank you so much for being here”; “We had a wonderful time”; “You have a very warm atmosphere”. The film also received positive reviews for its warmth and soulfulness from our Belgian friends who were not previously familiar with the main character, Cheburashka.

The film “Cheburashka” evoked various emotions among the audience: they laughed, then came a sad moment, and again laughter could be heard.

We should also mention the excellent performances by the actors: Elena Yakovleva, Sergey Garmash, Olga Kuzmina, Dmitry Lysenko, and of course, Ilya Kondratenko, who played the role of the boy Grisha.
